Charity Lunch Event

As part of Basingstoke and Deane Mayor Cllr Martin Biermann’s 2012/13 fundraising for charities, including RadCan, there is a Charity Lunch taking place on 16 November 2012.  Full details and tickets are available from Linda Butler at BCOT on 01256 306303 or – great food, company and raising money for charity to boot!

LOK’nSTORE Supports RadCan

Self-storage company LOK’nSTORE, based in Crockford Lane Chineham, has chosen to make RadCan its ‘Charity of the Year’ through to June 2013.

Various fundraising activities involving their staff will help to raise awareness as well as much needed funds.  The company has also pledged to make a £25 donation every time RadCan directs a customer to Lok’nStore and they make a reservation, so if you need secure self-storage then look no further!  Visit to find out more about the company – and remember to mention RadCan!

Race Night Event

In support of RadCan, the Rotary Club will be holding a ‘Race Night’ on Saturday 10 November 2012 at Sherborne St John Village Hall.  Doors will open at 7pm with the first race starting at 7.30pm.

There will also be a pay bar, raffle and an auction.  Tickets cost £10 each, to include a ploughman’s supper, and are available from Elizabeth Banks on 850514, Marion Welton on 850488, or Paul Temple on 850170.

In Harmony Choir – Christmas Crackers Event

In support of RadCan, the Rotary Club presents the choir ‘In Harmony’ on Sunday 2 December 2012 at Sherborne St John Village Hall.  The festive programme will start at 2.15pm and will include part-songs and carols from the 16th century to the present day.
